Across our extensive work with Dendy Cinemas, including Southport, Newtown, Canberra and Coorparoo, our ambition has been to redefine the contemporary cinema experience, one that balances comfort with sophistication, atmosphere with clarity, and the ritual of movie-going with the expectations of modern audiences. Each site presented its own architectural challenges and cultural context, yet our design approach remained anchored in a consistent ethos: warm materiality, intuitive planning and an elevated but accessible sense of hospitality.

Across each cinema, our goal has been to elevate the journey from foyer to theatre, ensuring every touchpoint feels cohesive, comfortable and distinctly “Dendy.” Each project reflects its local character while contributing to a unified brand experience; cinemas that feel welcoming, atmospheric and thoughtfully designed for the way people gather today.
